  • The 333 staged race is aimed at allowing more ultra runners to be a part of LA ULTRA – THE HIGH family. Over the years, many around the world have wanted to join the race, but could not due to the extremity added by the ‘non-stop’ nature of the event.

The staged 333 will still be done in a cumulative time of 72 hours, but over a period of 6 days of racing rather than 3 non-stop days. The other elements however, will be there as nature and Himalayas present them to us. Racers go over THREE 17,500 ft high mountain passes, in temperatures ranging from 40 degree C to Minus 12 C, with less than 50% oxygen compared to sea level.

Each day racers will be covering approx. 55 kms with a daily cut-off time of approximately 10-12 hours. No personal crew / pacers / vehicles are needed for the race. You have to be self reliant. It is mandatory for all the participants to carry a suggested quantity of water & energy food. Refill points will be available at certain points in the race everyday.

All transportation from finish point for the day to accommodation, and back to the start point will be taken care of by the organizers.

Emergency medical teams will be present throughout the race route to ensure everyone’s safety. Travel & medical insurance for all athletes is compulsory. The race fee will include insurance cover for Indian athletes only. All foreign nationals (non Indian runners) need to get themselves covered for medical emergencies, and present all necessary papers to the organizers before arriving in India
